In the Holes series Lahde is developing a vocabulary of techniques by introducing new tools and processes to altering paper. This series of paper works incorporate a controlled process of blind faith. A piece of paper is rolled onto a dowel, intermittent holes are made by filing the paper with a large wood rasp. The result is a gradation of torn holes across the paper.
